This Privacy Policy explains how openLN handles information when you use openLN. We believe in good habits that protect everyone, so we collect only what we need to design, sell, and ship your cards, and we do not sell your personal data.

1. Information we collect

Designs and uploads: the artwork and card model, so we can save and produce your design.
Account details: a username and the credentials you set, used to sign in and show your orders.
Order and shipping details: the recipient name and address you provide so the order can be delivered.
Creator payout details: the handle and Lightning address you set when publishing, used to pay your royalties.
Payment data: Lightning invoice and payment status. We do not store card numbers or bank details, because payment happens over the Lightning Network.
Technical data: a session identifier stored in your browser to tie designs to you without requiring an account, plus basic logs needed to run and secure the service.

2. How we use your information

to save your designs and let you return to them,
to process orders, take payment, and arrange production and delivery,
to publish your design and pay your royalties when you choose to,
to send transactional emails about your order, such as confirmation, production, and shipping with tracking,
to keep the service secure and to meet legal obligations.

3. Sharing with service providers

We share the minimum information needed with the partners who help us run openLN:

our production and fulfillment partner receives your design and shipping details to print and deliver your cards,
our email provider receives the address and content needed to send order updates,
payment settlement happens over the Bitcoin Lightning Network through our wallet provider.

These partners process data on our behalf for these purposes only. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for unrelated advertising.

4. How long we keep data

We keep order and account records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations. Private designs are kept while your session or account references them. You can ask us to delete data that we are not required to retain.

5. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to limit what we collect and to safeguard what we hold.

7. Children

openLN is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.

We operate from Thailand and work with partners in other countries. Where data is transferred across borders, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in line with this policy.
